In September, Spokeland is participating in the Ecology Center’s series on the future of transportation: Refuel, Repair, Reimagine. We’re running a workshops for kids and families!
This workshop will help you all improve your bike maintenance and repair skills. We will cover some basics about tires, chains, and brakes, and give some quick advice for riding safely. The workshop will take place at the EcoHouse in North Berkeley (not at the Spokeland shop). To get to the EcoHouse, ride on the Ohlone Greenway bike path from North Berkeley BART. After the workshop, feel free to picnic in the beautiful neighborhood garden.
The workshop is free! However space is limited and pre-registration is required. RSVP to 510-548-2220 x239 or register@ecologycenter.org
Date: September 17th
Time: 10am – Noon
Location: EcoHouse, 1305 Hopkins St., (enter via garden entrance on Peralta), Berkeley
Wheelchair accessible.

Our second women and trans workshop this past Saturday was a success! Thanks to all those who dropped by.
Our next women and trans workshop will be in September. We’ll be hosting them monthly for now, and possibly even bi-weekly if we have enough interest. We’re planning a more structured workshop for next time…what kind of workshop are you interested in?
